Learn methods to promote lactation and tips for a successful breastfeeding experience both during your hospital stay and beyond.

Class is held on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. virtually or in person at MUSC Health Women's Pavilion at Florence Medical Center, 1590 Freedom Blvd., Computer Classroom, Florence, SC 29505. Registration is required.

Childbirth Preparation

This class is designed to prepare the mother-to-be and her labor companion for the birthing experience, focusing on signs of early labor, comfort measures to use in labor and breathing relaxation techniques.

Maternity orientation is included to familiarize the patient and their family with the facility and our labor and delivery concept.
