MUSC Health is closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak. The safety of our patients and care team is our number one priority.

About the Surgery Center

An Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a facility where surgeries that do not require a hospital admission are performed. Patients who elect to have surgery at our ASC arrive the day of the procedure, have the surgery in an operating room, and recover under the care of a nursing staff, all without hospital admission.

At the Surgery Center at Edgewater, we focus our attention on making your outpatient experience as pleasant as possible. Our facility is accessible to persons with disabilities. Our staff and your surgeon combine advanced equipment with compassion to provide you with quality care in a supportive environment. Your personal comfort and rapid recovery are our priority. We offer a wide variety of outpatient procedures based on the latest evidence based practices. This includes, but is not limited to: cosmetic, ENT, general, oculoplastics, ophthalmology (including cataract), orthopdeic surgery (including total joints) podiatric and pain management procedures.
